Having just moved over from Australia, I desperately wanted to start to incorporate more of the latest London fashion into my wardrobe and learn about how to dress for the different seasons. I also thought that it was time to get an unbiased and expert opinion on the fabrics, cuts, and colours that I should wear, having always been told by my friends that I dressed well.

I found Fiona and Style Struck on the internet and from her first email; I knew Fiona would be fabulous. I did two days with Fiona, one to cleanse my wardrobe and the other for a full day of shopping to replace what we threw away. During the wardrobe cleanse, I tried on almost every piece of clothing and pair of shoes in my wardrobe and Fiona gave me tips on why it either did or didn't work for me, and how I could match it back with other pieces, if it wasn't quickly tossed aside! She was honest but never rude or unkind and I was never told that I absolutely must get rid of a piece. I finished with several large garbage bags of clothes, shoes and bag that, I regret to say, several of my friends happily devoured!

The shopping day was the following week and it was amazing: Fiona has great energy and took me through 8 hours of shopping, keeping me going when I was so tired and desperate not to see another fitting room. She showed me that it was possible to spend not a lot of money on great funky pieces for the latest season but could just as easily source pieces where a little extra cash was required. She had already done some research before the day and found me a great suit and a bag, which made the day much easier. I would never normally try pieces back with other pieces I've already bought, but Fiona also showed me that when shopping put the whole outfit on. She also got me into skinny jeans and I can't look back.

This was a wonderful experience; I'm already booked in for another session for a special wedding outfit and would never hesitate in recommending Fiona and Style Struck to all of my friends and those in desperate need of a makeover!
