I had been lacking any inspiration from my wardrobe for quite sometime and felt that it would be a good investment to find a personal stylist / shopper to accompany me on a shopping expedition. I came across Fiona's website purely by accident whilst “Googling” ‘personal stylists' - I was very impressed with her website which was well constructed and simple to navigate.

Having accessed the Style Struck website I decided instead of launching straight into a full on shopping trip it would be a good idea for Fiona to see what I already had in my wardrobe and so booked her for a 'wardrobe cleanse’ at my home. This has to be one of the best investments I have ever made. I tried on every item in my wardrobe – Fiona and her colleague Holly gave me guidance on what I should keep/get rid of, how I could mix and match existing items in my wardrobe, they also made a list of items that I required. I thought the whole process would be utterly exhausting but they made it so much fun. By the time they left my wardrobe had been completely de-clutterised with the best pieces all placed in order and at last I had space!  I now felt ready to take the next step so booked an all day shopping trip with Fiona.

I met Fiona early one Saturday morning where we recapped on the list of required items identified from the wardrobe cleanse. Fiona explained how the day would work so we could maximise our shopping time. Once we hit the shops Fiona quickly identified specific items which I tried on one after the other – and soon she had assembled complete outfits which looked fantastic. I tried on clothes that I would never have had the confidence to try on my own – new colours, cuts and textures and the best part was that I was already beginning to feel younger!

By lunchtime we had made huge progress and we still had the rest of the afternoon to shop.  Having spent the morning updating my smart / casual weekend wardrobe we then turned to my work wardrobe and smarter evening year. Again Fiona guided me around the shops with so much energy and enthusiasm – the whole experience was so productive and most importantly fun – it was not at all tiring. The afternoon flew by and by 7pm we had shopped for almost 9 hours!

I have already booked Fiona in for another shopping trip in a few months time and my husband is even contemplating the wardrobe cleanse and shopping day.  However the best part of the whole experience is the complements I have had from friends and family on my new wardrobe - I feel rejuvenated and it has rekindled my passion for shopping!
