I've been on several shopping expeditions with Fiona and they've been great fun. I have my ideas and she has hers and being a woman of "mature" years I'm rather set in my "style". I would hate to be thought of as "mutton dressed as lamb" but there's no fear of that. Fiona has given me the confidence to put together pieces I would never have dreamt of wearing. Pre-Fiona the thought of buying a £14.99 cardigan and a £9.99 t-shirt from a leading high street chain store would have been anathema but now they sit perfectly with a 10 year old designer label skirt she resurrected from the back of my cupboard during a wardrobe cleanse. This particular outfit has been finished off with a very inexpensive pair of shoes I would never have chosen myself and a necklace that without Fiona I'd have walked right past. Post-Fiona I'm a new woman - I look different and I feel different, I'm thrilled and my husband is ecstatic!

P.S The wardrobe cleanse Fiona gave me was I imagine the equivalent of colonic irrigation! We cried our make-up off at the dynasty shoulder-padded jackets I've clung on to for 15 years, fought over several "compromise piles" (- she said they had to go, I said I might need them when I'm old and grey - when will that be, she asked?) and felt positive elation, as I carried 5 bin bags full of mismatched pieces into my car for sale at Oxfam or for the tip! My clothes now hang freely in colour co-ordinated sections and I can see at a glance everything I possess for any particular season. As it's the summer, Fiona has folded up all my winter woollies etc, wrapped them in tissue and placed them in a drawer, ready for the first fall of leaves in October. Thank you Fiona, you've given my wardrobe, my husband and me a new lease of life!
